Is this true? I am sure a time past Visual Express did work on my XP machine. Recently I did install XP all over again. Just now I tried to install Visual Studio and it bailed. So I tried the Visual Express and is stalls. Does anybody know what is going on? The link covers available Platform targets, not systems that Visual Studio itself will run on.

And the Express version was for the problem of "using Visual Studio for free", that is why I told him to download and use that one since this is the legal way of doing this, instead of downloading a crack and so on.
